Medopharm is a medium-size German pharmaceutical company. It was founded in 1932 in Munich under the name of Dr. Boether GmbH. Since 1938, the company name has been Medopharm GmbH.
The company headquarters and the entire production are situated in Ehrenkirchen near Freiburg.In addition to pharmaceutical products, this company manufactures cosmetics and food supplements.
Medopharm products are today available in 9 European countries and Japan. The share of export in the total turnover is around 25%.
Although most of its products are herbal remedies, the most important Medopharm product is Medobiotin - vitamin H. It was launched on the market in 1992. Today it is available in 5 European countries and Japan.
