A Broad Assortment of Products
Oktal Pharma does business about 400 domestic and foreign suppliers, distributing over 12,000 different articles. Besides distribution, the Purchasing Service cultivates quality business relations by providing suppliers with the services of market analyses and assessments, planning and conducting sales campaigns, price formation and the monitoring of market trends.

WarehouseWarehouse meets the high European warehousing standards (refrigerating, fire fighting and fire alarm systems, continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity, refrigerating chambers for storage of goods at +2 to +8 ºC, exit of goods according to the FIFO method etc.), it is fully automated and computer controlled, and the warehouse control information system supports all warehouse operations (input, output, placement of the goods ...). The items are placed in the warehouse according to the required storage conditions and output frequency. The transport system – the conveyer belt for movement and the automaton for issue of the medicinal drugs the items on order are issued according to the FIFO method (first in - first out) and are delivered to the customers in the returnable plastic packaging, which represents contemporary hygienic and ecological trends in distribution of goods.
Each month, distributed from the warehouse are more than 2.5 million pieces of items, out of more than 15,000 product types. The more frequent items are placed in the issue automaton and on the throughput shelves along the transporter belt, so the required travel path and issue time is kept at the minimum. All storage positions, including the shelves and issuing racks are addressed and by the position address that is for each item kept in the IT system, precise monitoring of the types, quantities, serial numbers and the expiration dates is performed.
