Development history
1992. Oktal Pharma was established as a privately-owned limited liability company for commerce and services, in order to supply pharmacies, hospitals and other health institutions with a broad assortment of pharmaceuticals and other medical products of domestic and foreign manufacture
1995. change in the structure of ownership
1997.Oktal Pharma bought Medical institution Ghetaldus-O with two pharmacy units (Opatija i Umag)
1998. Split Branch Office founded
2000. moved into new premises (administration building and an automated and computer-operated warehouse, completely adapted to the highest requirements for commerce in pharmaceuticals)
2001.
- customs warehouse opened
- consignment warehouse opened
- Rijeka Branch Office founded
- Osijek Branch Office founded
- Branch Office Ljubljana (Slovenia) founded - begining of regional expansion
- development of OPh Pharmacy chain
2002.
- Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) founded
- Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Croatia - first Croatian wholesaler certified in accordance to ISO9001:2000 (Quality Management System)

- Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Croatia certified in accordance to ISO14001:1996 Environmental Management System
- in accordance of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO14001:1996 Integrated quality and environment management (IQEM) system established
- Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Beograd (Serbia and Montenegro) founded
- ZU Ghetaldus-O changes it’s name into ZU Vaše zdravlje
- contract with the German pharmaceutics wholesaler Andreae-Noris Zahn AG (ANZAG) on the transfer of a 49% ownership share signed

- Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Sarajevo moved into it's own new facility with warehouse and offices – total surface 2200 m2 - prerequisite for the respectable position in the Bosnia and Herzegovina
- The rest of Bratstvo d.d. facilities located on the Oktal Pharma headquarter acquired
2008.
- Ljubljana branch office registered as OPH Oktal Pharma d.o.o. Ljubljana
- new facility with warehouse and offices constructed and ready for renting – total surface 9.837 m2 (6.000 m2 warehouse and rest for offices)
2009.
- Oktal Pharma pharmacy chain counts 18 pharmacies
